Along Came Polly (2004)AKA: Risk (2002) and Untitled John Hamburg Project (2003)3/3 rankings
Directed By: John Hamburg
Summary: A man who's afraid of risk but makes a living analyzing risk ends up getting involved in a risky romance. Review: Along Came Polly is one of the funniest movies to come along in a long time. This movie will leave you rolling in the aisles, laughing in your car all the way home, and still repeating lines of dialogue the next day at work to your friends. Although Ben Stiller does an excellent job, as always, of playing the neurotic risk analyst, Reuben Feffer, Hank Azaria, of The Simpsons fame, steals the show. Even though he has only a relatively small role in that of Claude, the scuba diving instructor, his lines are the most memorable and the ones you will be repeating for much of the next week. And if you aren’t talking about his lines you will be talking about his body! Only Hank Azaria could make the following simple words such a joy to hear: “hippopota moose”, “ha pee”, and “scub ah”. To Purchase: Along Came Polly (2004) on DVD. Special Features: Deleted Scenes, Outtakes, Behind the Scenes, and Movie Commentaries.
