Summary: Superman returns from the Fortress of Solitude where he's been in self-exile for the last six years only to find that evil on Earth is stronger than ever. Lex Luthor is firmly in charge of Metropolis and an old enemy from the planet Krypton has returned. Plus the world now thinks it may have been better off without him because of his long absence.
